Privacy Policy
VYVE is committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is collected, used, and stored across our platform, services, live event systems, venue tools, and companion applications such as VYVE Link and VYVE Command.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information when you create an account, join an event, interact with QR experiences, upload content, contact support, install or use VYVE Link or VYVE Command, or use VYVE-powered venue systems.
Information collected may include:
- • Name, email address, and account credentials
- • Venue, organization, and event information
- • Uploaded images, videos, logos, and media assets
- • Device, browser, and connection information
- • Usage analytics and platform interaction data
- • QR interaction and engagement activity
- • Optional SMS or communication opt-ins
- • Facial landmark and image-processing data generated by Photo Studio features (Beauty AI, Face FX, portrait lighting, and related tools) — see Section 4 below
- • DJ hardware and software performance telemetry collected by VYVE Link (such as track metadata, deck state, and MIDI signal data) — see Section 5 below
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- • Operate and improve the VYVE platform
- • Power live event and venue experiences
- • Authenticate users and secure accounts
- • Provide customer support
- • Analyze platform performance and usage trends
- • Deliver event, venue, and display functionality
- • Process subscriptions and billing
- • Communicate platform updates or service notices
3. Payments & Billing
Certain VYVE services require paid subscriptions.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. VYVE does not directly store full payment card information on our servers.
Subscription plans, billing cycles, introductory or promotional pricing, and standard pricing may change over time. Failed or overdue payments may result in restricted access to certain services or platform features.
4. Photo Studio, Facial Landmark Data & Face FX
Photo Studio uses on-device facial landmark detection to power features such as Beauty AI, Face FX overlays, makeup presets, and portrait lighting. This processing analyzes the geometry of a face in an uploaded or captured photo (for example, the position of eyes, nose, and mouth) so effects can be aligned and rendered correctly.
This landmark data is used to render the final image and is not used to identify a specific individual's identity, and VYVE does not use Photo Studio to build a biometric identification database. Some jurisdictions define facial geometry data as biometric information subject to additional legal requirements; where applicable law requires specific notice or consent for this processing, we provide it at the point Photo Studio features are used.
Finished photos submitted through Photo Studio are stored and displayed as part of the event's photo wall and moderation queue, consistent with Section 8 (Uploaded Content & Venue Assets) below.
5. VYVE Link & Local Software
VYVE Link is a locally-installed application that connects supported DJ software and hardware (such as Rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro) to the VYVE platform. When installed and active, VYVE Link may read and transmit performance telemetry — including track metadata, active deck state, fader and channel information, and MIDI controller signal data — to power realtime features like now-playing displays and room energy tracking.
VYVE Link only transmits the categories of data described above and does not access files, media, or data on your device outside of what your connected DJ software and hardware expose for this purpose. You can stop this data flow at any time by closing VYVE Link or disconnecting it from your DJ software.
6. Analytics & Platform Monitoring
We may collect technical and engagement analytics to improve reliability, performance, and platform experience.
This may include scene usage, QR engagement, display activity, playlist usage, interaction metrics, crash diagnostics, and general traffic analytics.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect platform data and user information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users acknowledge that they use the platform at their own risk.
8. Uploaded Content & Venue Assets
Users may upload graphics, videos, branding materials, event assets, photos, and display content to VYVE.
By uploading content, you confirm that you own the rights to the material or have permission to use it within the platform.
VYVE may store, process, and display uploaded assets solely for the purpose of operating platform functionality and venue experiences.
9. Third-Party Services
VYVE may integrate with third-party providers including hosting, analytics, communication, authentication, and payment processing services.
These services may operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
10. Your Data Rights
VYVE does not sell personal information to third parties.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- • Access the personal information we hold about you
- • Request correction of inaccurate information
- • Request deletion of your account and associated data
- • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- • Withdraw previously given consent, where processing relies on it
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or operational reasons described in Section 11.
11. Data Retention
We retain account information, venue data, uploaded assets, and analytics data for as long as needed to operate the platform, and for additional periods where required for security, legal, or backup purposes.
When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
12. Children’s Privacy
VYVE is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Many VYVE-powered venues and events are age-restricted independent of this policy; venues and event hosts are responsible for complying with any applicable age requirements for their own events.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves.
Continued use of VYVE after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
