Delete Your Account
You can delete your VYVE app account at any time. It takes a few seconds and can’t be undone.
In the app
- 1. Open the VYVE app and go to the You tab.
- 2. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the Account section.
- 3. Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and the app starts fresh.
Without the app
Email support@joinvyve.io from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm by replying, and delete it within 30 days, usually the same day.
What gets deleted
- • Your login, profile, handle, photo, bio, and social links
- • Your posts, stories, comments, and likes, and their photos
- • Your crews, follows, favorites, and notification settings
- • Your check-ins, your device’s push token, and your Snapchat connection
What we keep:if a device was banned for breaking the rules, it stays banned. Song requests, shoutouts, and photos you sent to a venue’s screen are not tied to your account; to have one removed, email us. Copies in our database backups expire on their own as the backups roll over.
Venue and DJ accounts
If your login also runs a venue or DJ workspace in VYVE Backstage, email support@joinvyve.io and we’ll close it with you, so billing and anyone else on your team are taken care of first. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
